Zest is a controller of personal data that we collect during the process of providing a service to you. We have a nominated person who oversees the way we process your data and have guidelines in place for all members of staff to follow. 
The data we require from you as an EU member is obtained under Article 6 of the General Data
Protection Regulations. 

What we do with your data

Your data is solely collected to arrange the fulfilment of our contracted services such as booking a table. 
We have a data protection framework in place to ensure that your information and privacy is protected. 
We not automatically add you to any marketing campaigns without your express permission. 

How long we keep your data

If you do not choose to join our mailing list we will delete your data after 1 month and our mailing list will be revised with options for you to opt out at any time. 

Who has access to your data?

Only restaurant staff have access to your data, this is on order to contact you should there be a problem with your reservation. 

If you are a newsletter subscriber your details will be held on a third party platform and be accessed by a 3rd party.  No 3rd parties are allowed to use your data for other marketing purposes and are required to adhere to GDPR.
 
What are your rights?

You can request to see the personal data we hold about you or have it deleted. We aim to respond within 28 days.

Should a data breach be detected our policy is to inform the individuals affected immediately and take appropriate action.
